Well, it does what it's supposed to, I guess
-
I have been trying for a while to find a social plugin with a floating bar that just works. And to the developer’s credit this one does.
However, it has the most unhelpful and confusing admin interface I’ve come across…
To get access to the main plugin settings you have to click the ‘Start Using WP Socializer” button on the bottom of the Admin landing page. If you don’t do this you won’t be able to adjust templates or social buttons visibility. I actually had to Google how to only show the floating bar… because it never occurred to me that a plugin dev would hide their settings.
Furthermore, the styling is significantly different from WP’s Admin standards and is inconsistent with the rest of the WP Admin backend.
I’m using the thing because it works, but I’ve wasted half an hour of productive time just trying to figure out how to make it do what I want.
