• With multiple authors across many sites, it can be difficult to manage their access to our stock account. This makes it much easier to enable our authors. Many kudos to Stockpack for a well-integrated plugin that makes our lives so much easier. I’d love to see the ability to control where image metadata gets placed. For example, we put attribution in the description field to save the captions for content.

Hi @natejacobson, thank you for the kind words! We love to hear that the plugin made things easier for you and your team.

Now, going to the feature you are talking about, I am not sure that would be possible. The description field in WordPress is for the ALT tag. Not sure how technical you are, but that would not be a good way to credit the free image websites.

My recommendation is to update the caption to include both attribution and the explanation for the content. However, if in your design you find a place for attribution as well as a separate place for a caption you might be able to write code that automates that.

There is a filter that allows you to change the caption that gets set for the images here: https://stockpack.co/blog/stockpack-settings-capability-filter/

If you need help or some additional hooks/filters in the plugin please contact us via https://stockpack.co/contact

    Thank you,
    Ionut
