That minor problem might be solved by using targtag="span" targpos="inline"

Thank you for the help, using your second example with a tag=”p” instead of tag=”h4″ solved the issue.

Example:
[expand title=”title” tag=”p” targtag=”span” targpos=”inline” targclass=”span_fix”]content[/expand]
