Welcome statement repeats on refresh

Hello, is there any progress on the next release where cookies can perhaps be used to remember the user?

This of course is needed to avoid the repeated welcome greeting on every page visit.

This is a great tool – I suppose we can opt out of the welcome by using “blank” for now, and perhaps use written instructions in the meantime.

But it would be great if we could use the welcome greeting.
