Welcome to the support forum of the WordPress plugin Shariff Wrapper!

We hope you enjoy our plugin. In case you have any questions or encounter a problem, please feel free to start a topic. You can write us in German or English. Please be aware, that we are developing this plugin in our spare time and therefore cannot always respond immediately.

To help speed up the process, please follow these steps when creating a new topic.

1) Please make sure that you are using the latest version of our plugin and of WordPress itself. With almost every release there are small bug fixes that might already solve your problem.

2) Please check that you are actually using our plugin ?Shariff Wrapper“ and not the other one called ?Shariff for WordPress“. We cannot help you with this other plugin.

3) Please check the Frequently Asked Questions, the solution to your questions might already be there!

4) Please always start a new topic with your request. Otherwise your issue might get overlooked in the process of solving the topic of someone else. A lot of problems sometimes look identical to the user, but have completely different causes.

5) Please provide a link to your site. It is very helpful in solving the issue to see the effects of a problem ourselves. To avoid confusion for your visitors, while a problem with the buttons persist, you can, for example, disable the automatic addition of the shariff buttons on the tab ?Basic“ in the plugin options and create in WordPress a new site called ?shariff test“, on which you only write the shorttag [shariff].

6) If you have problems with the share counts (statistic) on the buttons, please provide the information stated in the status section on the ?Basic“ tab of the plugin options page.

7) If other plugins or themes are involved or affected by the problem, please tell us the names of these plugins and themes. WordPress has almost 40.000 plugins and is impossible for us to test our plugin with all combinations.
