Site not showing

    Hello there. My website was working fine until 30 mins ago. Since then, my site is not showing, I cannot log onto it and it shows a welcome page from my web host OVH. I am at loss to what happened.
    I did upgrade this afternoon to the newest wordpress version but it worked fine afterwards.

    a few things you can check on:
    contact your host to see if there are any issues with your hosting account or domain name.
    are you able to see your WordPress Folders in your hosting cPanel or via FTP?
    can you get into the database via phpmyadmin area of hosting?
    do you have a backup of your website files and database?

    I emailed my host but no answer and they ddon’t offer the option of posting on their forum. So I’m stuck, can’t see anything about the server being down.

    I can see my WP folders via FTP.
    I can get into my database and
    I have a back up of my files et database.

    I see you might have to register to get on the forum but a host should provide a place to open a support ticket, a system for signing in where you can control the DB, files, etc. and a telephone number. You need to think about a different host.

    Using ftp go to the folder where wp is installed (the root folder). Do you see a file called index.html? If so delete it. Do you see a file index.php? That should be there.

    https://www.deschosesadire.net/ goes to the host’s splash page.

    I have checked and there no index.html anywhere.
    I have the index.php

    And I have asked for assistance vie my client space with OVH.

    There is not much more you can do without getting the attention of your host. Are you paying for a managed wordpress site?

    Ok, digging through the site I found one phone number, +33 9 72 10 10 07. Maybe that will help.

    No, I do it myself. I just have to hope for a reply from the host then.

    For information, i had to change the DNS. So problem resolved
