Welcome pack not sending welcome message anymore

    Once BP 1.7 is out, I’m going to spend some time on Welcome Pack to make sure it all works. Emails not being sent could have many reasons, not just indicating a problem with Welcome Pack.

    I’ve noticed Welcome Pack doesn’t include the welcome email at all. Plenty of other emails but not the Welcome Email after the user is activated.

    I am firing the action to send the welcome email after do_action( ‘bp_after_activation_page’ ) in activation.php by adding in do_action( ‘welcome_email’ ).

    I love BuddyPress and the welcome pack this was my only issue I’ve had with it so far.

    Thanks. As I said, waiting for 1.7 to come out before I spend time checking.

    I had to disable my beloved ‘welcome pack’ . My emails were not being delivered because of it. :(.

    I’ll check back every so often to see if this gets a resolved.
