    Hi,

    Our client is using an ultimate member form and an issue with the email verification and welcome email since it is not sending after a registration form is submitted.

    All other WordPress emails are working. We are also using a plugin to log the emails and there is also no email logged after submitting the form, so no email is sent at all. There is no php Email issue since all the other mails are working (and we also started to use SMTP but it didn’t solve the problem). The formtype is register and it’s the standard registration form.

    What could be the issue?

    Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    This is the second issue with activation email today.
    Activation email setup includes these steps:

    First
    UM -> Settings -> Appearance -> Registration form -> Registration Default Role

    Second
    UM -> User Roles ->
    Select the user role above defined as “Registration Default Role” -> Edit -> Registration Options -> Registration Status -> Require email activation

    Hi @missveronicatv

    Thank you for your quick response. I’ve updated the Registration Default Role (require email activation was already opt in) but the verification email is still not sending.

    Hi @phigor

    Please try setting up an SMTP plugin to fix the relay issue.

    Hi @champsupertramp

    Thank you for your reply. But as mentioned in my initial question I’ve already setup SMTP successfully but it’s still not working. Additionally I’ve set up an Email Log Plugin but no email is sent/logged when the registration form is submitted.

    The mail is only sent to the admin that a new user registered but the verification/activation mail is not sent to the user.

    @phigor Verify that:

    UM -> Settings -> Email and the second line:

    “Account Activation Email” is set to on (=green)
