Welcome Email after Successful Subscription

    Hello,

    The email signup from my website (right-sidebar widget) is working, and the new subscriptions get received in my Mailchimp Audience list.

    The only problem is, the automated welcome email does not get sent out upon subscribing. All my other pop-up and landing page sign ups generate welcome emails but not the MC4WP email signup.

    Could you please help?

    Hey Lina,

    Can you please confirm if you have enabled Double Opt-in for our form?

    Thanks Harish. After I enabled Double Opt-in, the subscription confirmation is now being sent.

    I was just wondering why the original automated welcome email that I’ve created from Mailchimp gets sent out only via landing page signup form and not via pop-up signup and MC4WP signup forms.

    The final welcome email is only send out when the form is set to Double opt-in. Without double opt-in the subscriber is seen as “imported via API” instead of “subscribed via form”.

    Thank you, Lap!

    It worked when I:
    – Disabled double opt-in from MC4WP
    – Disabled “final welcome email” from Mailchimp
    – Set the customized Mailchimp welcome email condition to “Signup source” from “any general API” and “popup form”
