Welcome e-mail sent out when people unsubscribe

Hello,
I’ve been using this plugin for a while to send out a discount code to users when they subscribe to our newsletter. It’s been working great, but recently I’ve been made aware that people receive a new welcome mail when they unsubscribe from the list. Could someone help me with this, or I would have to look for another plugin for this.
