Weird uploads directory

  • whenever I try to upload something to my wordpress blog, I recieve a message.

    “Unable to create directory D:\webs\sta293\blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

    sta293 is my ftp login. But what is this D:\webs, and how can I enable it to be writable?

    Uh-oh. looks like I set the permissions to a wrong folder.
    For some reason I had a /blog/blog/wp-content/uploads folder, to which I set files.
    I feel really dumb…
