We have not experienced this issue with the latest version of WordPress and believe it may be due to a filter running on the content at some point. One way to test it is to disable all plugins with the exception of RPS Image Gallery, see if the problem persists, and if not, activate one plugin at a time until you find the culprit. Target sharing link plugins first as they tend to filter the content before it is output to screen.

To answer your other question, we have a major version release pending which incorporates some of the most requested features. It should be out in the next few weeks. Let us know if you have additional questions or need more help.

Thanks for the answer, I actually did what you suggested and found out that the “Redux Framework” was causing this mess.
Weird enough, your plugin explicitly says on the top of the plugins’ tab that “RPS Image Gallery uses the Redux Framework plugin to change default settings.” but once I disable it everything works fine like before.

Have I maybe misconfigured the framework? Thanks.

We have not encountered issues with the Redux Framework before. However, there can always be conflicts between plugins. It is not likely you have a misconfigured framework. If you wish you can provide us with a list of plugins and the theme you are running and we will try to replicate the issue and provide you with a diagnosis.

Be sure to check out version 2.0.0 which was released only moments ago. Thanks in advance.
