Weird Slider

    Fresh install of wordpress and theme and getting weird slider! in customiser everything looks and acts fine. But once publishing i get a static image of one of the posts and black wide border to the right with categories and text in it. See images

    Also while I’m here could you please tell me how to change the colour of the categories bars when hovered over them, thank you.

    Sorry just read further down the forums and missed a similar post. HERE Since reading the thread I’ve disabled all my plugins and still the problem persists I’m at a loss to what might be causing the problem.

    I’ve manged to work out how to do this part now by reading through the forums! But can’t fix the slider. ??

    something is conflict with the wp built-in jquery, in console, it showing the error trigger by youtube related code/js.

    maybe try js in footer solution like this

    I’ve added that code to the bottom of the functions.php and it’s had no effect! Not sure if I’ve done this correctly as I’m not a php coder but thank you for your help Richie.
