weird redirect

Hi John,

Been seeing a huge increase of urls like this every day :

/go/cars//?p=324242424 which redirect to /cars/

So I did this : ^/go/cards//*$

But still redirects to mysite/com/cars/ when in fact, it should redirect to an affiliate link.

I tried various permutations with no success.

Any ideas please as I have looked at the plugin page?
