Good evening, I’m facing a strange issue with the Safari browser (in all other browsers I’ve tested, everything works fine). The issue occurs under the following conditions:

    I create a new event.
I create the translation of the event.
I navigate to the Greek version of the event archive.
Using the datepicker to navigate to a previous or next month, the URL changes from domain.gr/events/month to domain.gr/en/?post_type=tribe_events&eventDisplay=month&eventDate=2025-03&name=en.
In other words, using the datepicker switches the language of the calendar and generates this ugly link instead of the correct one that appears in all other browsers, i.e., domain.gr/events/month/2025-02/.

If I resave the permalinks, the issue is temporarily resolved, that is, until I create a new event and its translation.

    Some additional information:

    1. I’m using WPML for translation.
    2. WordPress version 6.6.2.
    3. I’m using the same slugs for events in both Greek and English (events?and?event).

    Thanks a lot

    Hello

Thanks a lot for your response.

I have followed the guide to the letter. After all, everything works correctly on all browsers except Safari, where the issue described in (4) occurs.

Can you please help me find a solution?

    Hi @nikosmdtps

To rule out any conflicts, please check for any potential plugin or theme conflicts on your site and see if that resolves the problem. I recommend performing this test on a staging version of your website to avoid any disruptions to your live site. Additionally, please make sure that you have the latest version of the plugin installed, as updates often include important fixes and improvements.

Please also provide the URL of your calendar where we can check the issue on our side.

Let me know how it goes.

    Hello again,

I have followed all the steps you mentioned, but unfortunately, the issue has not been resolved.
Is there a way I can privately send you the link to the site?

Hello Darian, sorry for the delay. I created a ticket, here is the ticket number: #704061

Also, i can now describe the problem better:

    —————–

I have a website in two languages, Greek and English. Everything works fine except for the datepicker in the calendar.

Here’s a description of the issue:

    1) I create an event in Greek.
If I go to https://domain.com/events/ and navigate to the next or previous month using the datepicker, it correctly redirects me to a URL like:
    https://domain.com/events/month/2025-04/

    2) I create its English version.
If I now go back to https://domain.com/events/ (which is the Greek version of the site) and try to navigate using the datepicker, the URL I am redirected to is of the form:
    https://domain.com/en/?post_type=tribe_events&eventDisplay=month&eventDate=2025-05&name=en
(In other words, it redirects me to the English version of the site with an ugly URL, mixing Greek and English, etc.)

To fix the issue and make the site work properly again, I have to go to the Greek version of any event in the backend and hit “Save.”
Simply put, if the last save is done on the English version of an event, the issue appears. If the last save is done on the Greek version of an event, everything works correctly.

This issue does not appear in all browsers. For example, on my system, the issue occurs in Safari on Mac, while a client of mine reported seeing it in Chrome on a Windows machine.

I have the latest version of the plugin and the latest version of WordPress.
I have disabled all other plugins for testing, but the issue persists.
I have the same slug for events in greek and english version.
Can you help in any way?
    Thank you very much!
