Weird problem of no access to wordpress admin panel

  • Hi,

    I am new with wordpress and i installed wordpress using softaculous on our server and the domain name is registered elsewhere from my web hosting provider.

    I get a 404 error message cannot access my WP-admin page.
    Stranger thing is that i have a VMware Zimbra web client login page on my homepage for some reason and i have no clue how.

    Please help spent a lot but nothing seems to be working.

  • sush,youmight have added it in some wrong directory.try to uninstall the wordpress using softacuolous and reinstall it again in the root directory.

    I have checked everything im not sure why. The files are all saved in the public_html directory as it working fine on my other old server.

    This is a new server i tried to install and something is wrong but i have no clue. I uninstalled it and installed it again but same issue.

    Did you change the nameservers for your domain at your web hosting provider to the new server ones? If so, it may take a while for that to propagate.
