    Sorry about that!

    Could you try the following:

    1. Open this Plans page.
    2. Open your browser console
    3. Click on the Network tab
    4. Refresh the page.
    5. If you see any lines in red inside the browser console, click on them. A new panel should appear on the right.
    6. Click on the “Response” tab in that new panel.
    7. Copy the message displayed there.
    8. Paste it here.
    9. If no red lines appeared in the browser console, click on the “Console” tab of the browser console.
    10. Copy any errors displayed there, and paste them here.

    seeing one error line: "NetworkError: 400 Bad Request - https://www.thereishoppedit.com/wp-json/jetpack/v4/site"
    no other panel or details open up.. (Firefox w/ firebug)
    If url noted is opened in a browser you get: {"code":"invalid_user_permission_view_admin","message":"You do not have the correct user permissions to perform this action.\n\t\t\tPlease contact your site admin if you think this is a mistake.","data":{"status":401}}

    was in the console under response..

    Thanks! Did you use the Core Control plugin to deactivate specific features on your site? Could you try to reactivate all features, and let me know if it helps?

    Currently nothing is enabled in the core control plugin..

    settings

    Went and completely disabled Core Control, makes no difference.

    Thanks for giving it a try! Do you use the “Private Site” option in the Members plugin? If so, it might be what’s blocking all REST API calls on your site. Could you try to deactivate it for a little while?

    sure..

    We do not use the private settings.. we use members to create custom user/member roles with specific permissions..

    I’ll email you the debug output if it will help any..

    Did you use the plugin to customize the permissions of the existing admin user role?

    nope..
    we have a user role that’s between subscriber and editor that’s been customized..

    That’s odd. At this point, do you think you could contact us via this form and mention this thread? I’d like to run some tests with you on your site to try to understand what’s blocking the REST API request.

    Sent the support in through the plugin support link..
    It may have sent or may not have… its triggering a XSS blocking protection on submit.

    FYI, we have other WP sites on the same physical server that use Jetpack and they’re not having this issue.
