thanks for the reply, but actually I am facing this problem no matter what is the theme i am using

im having the same problem with my blog whenever i post the layout shift to the right so please someone help https://motech.nationvoice.com/

    Hi there!
I am not sure what the problem is (yet) – but what I’ve noticed is, that you both use some 404-settings (which means [more or less]: if the file/directory requested doesn’t exist, the server gives an “Error 404” – and you don’t display the server-error but redirect to the “homepage” of your site).

Maybe this could be the point? Did you check your logfiles (if available)?

go to my site here https://motech.nationvoice.com/ and scroll all the way down this isnt how the blog should be the footer is shifted and i tired checking the logfiles but couldnt find them

Seems you are missing the background-stuff (as ak-hater does). Not sure if it’s an image or just CSS-problem. Got to have a look at it…

balend: https://motech.nationvoice.com/wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickbg.jpg seems to be referenced “wrong”. Check your CSS (and maybe file-permissions) – the file itself DOES exist and IS available to the public!

    akhater:
Your site DOES work the way it should – just the “pages/2”-URI isn’t working. Well, it DOES but just shows your start-page (aka homepage) with the background-image missing. This really looks like a problem with your Error 404-handling! (so check your logs please – and keep us updated!)

    so what should i do

what is the exact thing i have to modify

well thanks for all the help i fixed the problem

Well, that’s good…. could you please post what you did to fix it, so the next person will be able to find it? And also, please mark this topic resolved. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, now that you mention it you are correct I do use a 404 settings because my page is hosted on IIS I followed the steps of this site
    https://www.keyboardface.com/iis-permalinks/

and I think you are right since the homepage (before you click on any other page) is working well

Can you help to solve it please
