Weird issue with role levels

Hey, we have regular shop manager role and that role can see some previously made copies of “customer” role but now when I make new copy of customer, the shop manager cant edit the profile (only view link in admin) also the role dropdown in other roles does not have all the roles which have been created (and are below the shop manager level as they are copies of customer).

I hope you handle UFT-8 correctly since we have ??? letters in roles too (just a guess if that helps).
