This problem just popped up today. I have no clue what’s causing it. Whenever I go to my blog using IE8 I get a message that IE has blocked a file from downloading. If you right click and say download file it comes up with a message saying the file is facebook_login.php and it’s from https://www.Facebook.com.

If you cancel out or close it returns you to the blog and everything is fine. When I clicked the download file it loaded Dreamweaver and then Dreamweaver gave me an error.

I thought it was related to a social media plugin that I recently installed, but I’m using the same plugin on another site with no problems. I tried Google Chrome and didn’t have the proble. Any ideas?

Does it still occur with the plugin disabled?

I removed the social media widget from the sidebar and the problem remians.

I deactivated the plugin. No change. I checked in Firefox and the problem appears to be only with IE8. Also the php file is login_status.php and not facebook_login.php.

Since I’m the only one posting anything I thought I would close out this thread. The prblem was with a Wordbooker plugin. The plugin provided automatic feeds to Facebook.
