Weird error when updating options.

  • Hi! ?? I know this is a long shot, but hopefully someone here can help.

    Basically, all of my options-.php pages work (options-general, options-writing, options-reading, ect), it’s when i go to update options and i get the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_reset_vars() in /home/ashjen/public_html/wp-admin/options.php on line 8

    I’ve tried playing around with all the option files, especially options.php, but nothing seems to work. I’m pretty new at wordpress though, so I’m not sure if there’s something I’m missing or what! Any help is appreciated. :]

  • You are editing manually the code on options.php??? and then you upload it via ftp or something???
    and then open it in the WP Admin Panel???

    If it’s so… bad bad bad… with my short experience (iam new too), there’s something wrong you are doing while writing the code on your own…

    If you could post the original code and the fixes you are setting, I guess that will clear the minds of the experts here…
