• i added a line of code to the index.php file ‘hide_empty=0’ to the wp_lists_cats line and now i get this error on the site page. i did the same edit on another blog and it worked fine.
    could someone please let me know what happened so i can fix it.

    update……
    i had deleted the opening “hello world” post and had not input any other posts.
    i added a quick post to the general catagory and it fixed the error.
    i am still interested in why and how just adding a post fixed this warning message.

    Not sure, I’ve never seen an entirely empty WordPress blog since the installation populates the database with one test post and one test comment.
    Maybe that’s just what happens to an empty WordPress blog.
