Weird blocking of valid username

    Hi,

    Trying to troubleshoot an issue where a user is locked out from login with ‘Used an invalid username’ despite definitely entering the valid username. Haven’t seen this before and the site’s running latest wp and wf plugin.

    Any ideas appreciated.

    Can you reproduce this issue with other users as well or it’s just with this single user? I’m saying that as we’ve seen a similar issue like this one when some user was using a password manager software that was responsible for auto-filling the login form with username/password and by somehow things weren’t working as it should.

    I spent hours on this problem and never found a solution, it only happened to us when one of our users was using Lastpass. He has to enter his credentials manually. Wish it worked, but hey, it’s better than the alternative. MTN

    Sorry for delayed response. Will keep an eye on it but sounds like Lastpass or another password manager may be behind it.
