    Hi Stefano,

I’m getting errors since updating to WP 4.01 — only with Hyper Cache activated — as follows:

    1. NextGen Gallery displays the gallery incorrectly
    2. The captcha in Contact Form 7 loses functionality (displaying the word ‘captacha’ instead).

When using the F5 key to refresh the browser, it appears to intermittently upload a correct page and a malformed page (“malformed” only with respect to the 2 problems cited above).

Both of the plugins above were updated after WP 4.0.1 was issued.

As soon as I deactivate Hyper Cache, everything displays properly.

I hope you get a chance to go over this and update Hyper Cache, which works so well in every other respect.

    Many Thanks!
    JF

  • Hi JF, did you add any of the NextGen Galleries to the following Exact URIs to bypass?

    Thanks for your reply, mbrsolution.

I no longer use HyperCache: I waited for the developer’s reply to this inquiry (also posted on his website) for a couple of weeks, but could wait no more. I now use W3 Total Cache and the problems cited above are all gone. I trust this had to do with HyperCache not being updated.

And, while I did enjoy HyperCache very much, I’m now getting even faster page loading under W3TC. W3TC involves many more settings, but there’s information available on how to configure it, and once you get it right, you can save and export the settings so you don’t need to repeat the process on multiple websites. I’m very, very pleased with it.

Hi thank you for reporting back. I can see your point of view and yes I would probably have done the same as you.

If you don’t need any more help can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you
