    Hi guys

I’m noticing a weird behavior when on My Account/Addresses when plugin is active, maybe you can help me sort this out.

I’m on WordPress 5.4.2 with WooCommerce 4.2.0. Plugin is updated with the last version.

With the plugin active, when I create an account on the site (without finishing an order) and go straight to My Account/Addresses, I see the Billing Address title and the EDIT button only. Rest of the page is empty. I can click EDIT and add a news address, which is saved as it should be.

But if I disable the Flexible Checkout Fields Plugin and refresh the page (without saving an address prior to it), I see Billing Address title and a ADD ADDRESS button, along with the message “You didin’t add any address yet”. This is the default expected behavior and I’m wondering why it’s not showing this way when the plugin is active. It doesn’t make sense to me to display the EDIT button if I don’t have added an address before…

Why is Flexible Checkout Fields plugin manipulating the behavior this way? How can I make it force the normal behavior (display the ADD ADDRESS button and the message, instead of EDIT button and no message)?

    Thank you!

    Hello @thiagot,

Did you mean, that you see the custom fields in the My Account page, whenever they are not filled up? Am I understand that you prefer to see “You didn’t add any address yet” message?

We designed this page to display data in this way, so this view is desired. I can talk with our developers, how to change this view, but I reply to you in Monday, because we are not working at weekend.

    Best regards,
    Mateusz

    Hi @mateuszwpdesknet

Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough. I’m not talking about the custom fields appearing. That part is working well.

I’m talking about the empty state of the page located at My Account / Addresses and how the user see the options available before adding an address for the first time. Without the plugin (when it is deactivated), the user sees the message saying that he haven’t added address so far, and a ADD ADDRESS button. In our opinion that’s the expected behavior.

Please see the printscreen of the empty state without the plugin here (ADICIONAR = ADD ADDRESS):

When the plugin is active, the empty state of the page shows EDIT button and nothing more, as shown in the printscreen here (EDITAR = EDIT):

We would like to keep the plugin active and see the empty state showing the ADD ADDRESS button, plus the message “You didn’t add any address yet” (like here https://i.imgur.com/fwTctLB.png). With the plugin active we are not being able to see that page this way. Thats our issue.

Thank you for your help! Please let me know if it is not clear ??
