We are using this plugin to show long FAQ’s on one subsite in a multisite. Mostly we like it a lot, especially because it’s accessible – thanks for that!

We do have one significant issue, tho: If anyone other than a network super-admin adds an accordion block to a page, or even edits a page that has accordion blocks on it, the next time anyone edits that page, all the accordion blocks claim to have invalid content and can’t be edited. On the front end, all the accordion blocks on the page display expanded and can’t be closed.

If a network super-admin then edits the page, makes no changes whatsoever but just updates the page, all the accordion blocks go back to normal: they don’t claim invalid content, they can be edited, and on the front end they all display closed and can be opened and closed as normal.

We are updating our COVID-19 FAQs several times a day, and to work around this issue we have to make site editors super-admins of our entire multisite network. We really don’t want to do this.

Thanks for an otherwise great plugin, but please make it work properly on a multisite.

Hi @jbchristy. Sorry to hear about the issue with the multisite install. I’ll have to look into it.

One thing to potentially try until I can get to the bottom of it: is there a ? more options button? If so, under that menu there is an “Attempt Block Recovery” option that may resolve the issue (at least temporarily).

I’ve created a ticket for the bug if you’re interested in tracking my progress.

Hi @philbuchanan! Wow, thanks for the quick response! Next time this comes up I’ll look for the “Attempt Block Recovery” option. Meantime, based on your ticket, it looks like you have a good handle on what’s going on. Hopefully that means it won’t take too long to fix. We really like this plugin, and we’ve already committed to it. I hope you can get a fix published soon.

Hi @jbchristy. I have just released v1.1.0 of the plugin. It should fix the issue. Please let me know if it doesn’t work for you.

@philbuchanan That’s great news! Thank you so much for your swift response!

I tested the new version lightly on my staging site, and have deployed it to our production site. I should know within 24 hours if it fixes the problem for our content editors.

Thanks again, both for a great plugin and for speedy support!
