Weird Alignment for Single Variation

Hello, the majority of our products have many variations and to keep things visually consistent, I’ve made stand alone items variations as well (eg. hats have a single selectable variation as ‘black’). The single icon does not align properly like the rest.

You can see how the black circle floats oddly out to the right. The second screenshot (a properly functioning multiple variable product) is an example of how the alignment should look like.

Why is it floating as it is, and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance.
