Weight not showing in Simple Products

  • I have a few dozen products in my store, most are simple products.

    I have installed the USPS plugin. It seems like I need to add a weight field to each of my existing products. Looking at existing products, and new products, neither show weight field under the general tab.

    Why do I not see this? How can I get USPS shipping working, if I cannot add a weight to each item?

  • go to woocommerce settings > catalog >

    then scroll down you will see, with check boxes

    The following options affect the fields available on the edit product page.

    Product fields Product fields Enable the SKU field for products
    Enable the weight field for products
    Enable the dimension fields for products
    Show weight and dimension fields in product attributes tab
