Weglot plugin being auto-updated to their non-working version?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently having an issue with a translating plugin called weglot.

There a problem with there 3.1.7 version and I want to use the 3.1.6. My problem is that it is being updated automatically and I don’t understand why.

I spent hours with their support and this is their response:

“I just asked my dev team and the developer of the app, and they confirm that Weglot doesn’t have the rights needed to be able to auto-update the plugin.
This auto-update should come from another element.
That’s why you should contact WordPress so that they will be able more able to help with this issue than us.”

I have tried to block the update using the easy update plugin: it didn’t work.
I added code to my wp-config file: it didn’t work either.
I stopped all updates on my wp site: still, the plugin gets updated from version 3.1.6 to 3.1.7 :/

Can someone explain to me how it is possible and what I should be looking at?

I tested with different themes, deactivated all my plugins..etc: still the same result.
