The only way to do that currently is if you are using a custom date range, but then you would have to update it every week.

Going to go ahead and mark this resolved since there hasn’t been a response and since it’s not really easily possible to do this in the current version. If you need any further help please let us know.

    Thanks!

    Hello Nick

I see that currently the plugin does not support a weekly view where you see just a Sunday through Saturday grid with hours.

What would it take to do this? Thanks!

    Hi there,

there’s currently in the works a new version of the plugin that supports different calendar types and one could technically add more as long as they are coded, without hacking the plugin

I don’t think a weekly view would be bundled at the very beginning but it would be simpler to program new calendar types/views and add them to the core plugin as a separate plugin (or built in the theme)

    Thanks Fulvio for your reply

I guess I am a bit confused from your reply so lets go step by step

When will the next version be available?

I am guessing you are stating that the new version may not have a weekly view but it could be added by the user, is that right? if so, would there be a guide to show how to do that?

Thanks again for a great plugin.

    1. new version is a matter of few weeks

    2. not immediately have a week calendar – future plugin will be extendable, by additional plugins anyone can write, using WordPress hooks and filters, without need to hack the core plugin. – Me and the others might provide a week calendar type afterwards, but we want to put some thought in how it would work and display. It will likely be an additional plugin.

    3. if you are a developer you can have a look at ongoing work at: https://github.com/moonstonemedia/WP-Google-Calendar-Events/tree/refactor (refactor branch) – consider it an alpha, not suitable to be installed in public websites yet

of course once all this is nicely put together we will try to publish more docs organized in a website, with a list of available hooks and some developers documentation
