    My client says he did not send/receive more than 200 emails in a week as it showed recently on a report from WP-SMTP. Since this is not the only client that is wondering why the reports show higher than expected traffic, I wonder why this happens so that I can learn and explain it to them.

    Hi @vschafer,

    Thanks for reaching out! The first number in the summary: “Total emails” is the total emails sent from your site since version 2.9.0 was released (2021-06-22) (when we started counting the number of sent emails for Lite version). The second number “Last week” is the number of emails sent in the last 7 days (excluding today).

    Also, you can ask them to check WP Mail SMTP -> Tools -> Debug Events section and see if they’re getting any errors.
