I have a newsletter with dynamic content that changes on a weekly bases. Instead of creating multiple newsletters and scheduling them one week apart, I’m hoping to create just one and send it at weekly intervals.

I’ve been reading older support topics regarding this and it appeared this functionality was not available in previous versions but there was mention of Mailpoet 3 expanding on this ability to set schedules.

Is there a way now with Mailpoet 3 to set a recurring schedule to send the same newsletter every week?

Thanks as always for the support!

Nope, there is no way to send the same newsletter week after week.

Daily, weekly or monthly newsletters are sent only when there’s new content.

Why would you send the exact same email on a weekly basis?

We’re using custom shortcodes in the body of the newsletter to produce dynamic content. The shortcodes are pulling information from a database and depending on the week pull in different values. Therefore the content of the newsletter is different without having to update the newsletter itself from week to week.

Sounds like we’ll just have to schedule a few weekly emails manually. Thanks for the response!

Jasnon, yes, this would require a hack.

Unless you can get your dynamic content pushed into a Custom Post Type. In that case, MailPoet would fire a weekly email.
