7/29/2024 at 8:31am received a Weekly WPForms Summary email saying there were zero Contract Form submissions.

But I received contact form submissions on July 26, July 28, and July 29 (5am). All were spam form submissions but why weren’t they counted in the summary? Are spammers using the form but somehow bypassing something in the process?

This is happening not to just this 1 site but all my sites. Summary says zero but I get submissions (all spam).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @flatword,

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry about the issue you’re experiencing.

We’ve recently improved our weekly Email Summaries. Now, your reports will show how many entries each of your forms has received, along with the percentage increase or decrease compared to the previous week.

As a reference, I created a new site for testing, submitted a form twice, and confirmed that the total in the Email Summary reflects 2 submissions – here’s a screenshot.

However, during the first week of using the new Email Summaries, the total will show as 0 since WPForms Lite doesn’t have a feature to save entries. In the following week, you should start receiving data from your form submissions, as WPForms Lite uses the wpforms_weekly_entries_count_cron hook to capture data for the weekly Email Summaries.

If you continue to receive weekly Email Summaries with a total of 0 entries, even after making some test submissions, I recommend following these steps:

    1. Install the?WP Control?plugin. WPBeginner has?a helpful guide about it here.
    2. Check that the?wpforms_weekly_entries_count_cron?and?wpforms_email_summaries_cron?hooks are available under?Tools ? Cron Events?–?screenshot.
    3. Confirm with your hosting provider that cron jobs are working on your site.

Thanks, and let me know if you need any further assistance!

    Hi @flatword,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
