Weekly Events

  • I wonder if it’s possible to do Weekly Events, for example if the event is Friday, May 6th from 8am to 11am. I would like the plugin to automatically update itself so the next week’s event date is 7 days from the event ending date/time, so it displays the event as Friday, May 13th from 8am to 11am, automatically. If the event is cancelled, an option to click cancel event and automatically generate the next week’s event can be done that way??

    Sorry, my plugin does not have a function for that. That’s beyond “very simple” ?? For that you must create a custom query.

    Over the years VSEL changed from “very simple” to somewhat extensive and still easy-to-use (IMO), but it will never be as feature-rich as the most popular event manager plugins. Personally I prefer removing “very simple” from the name of my plugins but the URL-slug and plugin folder name must stay the same.
