Hi Marcin. Have you made any progress with an advance configuration for this plugin using WebSockets? I noticed a post from almost four years ago on this topic. There seem to be quite a few posts regarding CPU load and with a large userbase we would love the stability and reliability of a WebSocket server.

    Hello @joewa1980

The work is partially done, but due to other projects it is still incomplete. The main difficulty is that users must maintain a dedicated chat server. This means running a process on VPS (Node or PHP app) which can be too complex for a regular user. This is also difficult to us to support such servers. Nonetheless, I’m hoping to finish the code rather sooner than later.

    Thank you!

I look forward to an update on this. We have a community of 25,000 users so would like some assurance on the viability of Wise Chat Pro in its current format.
