Website hacked? Redirecting to different address.

The only clue I’ve managed to pick up is that it looks like the domain registration’s been changed somehow:

thats taken off the page, and has nothing to do with the registration. its there due to the redirect.

both sites are hosted on dreamhost (diff boxes, same host).

I would contact them and ask them to see if they have screwed something up on their end..

OK. I guess I was grasping at straws there. Hopefully, it’s a simple mix-up by Dreamhost.

A real whois reveals that both domains are privately registered through dreamhost.
Therefore only you/dreamhost can determine who controls your domain. As a test, you can rename your index.php file and make a new index.php,html,etc with a test message inside. If you see your test message when browsing to your site, then you’ve been hacked, if the domain still points to the dreamgirl site then do as Whooami suggested and contact Dreamhost about their mistake.
For what it’s worth, each domain resolves to a different IP.

Based on this, you should contact Dreamhost about their probable mistake.

Host………… Ahh, shared servers and ip’s, Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all afford $250 a month dedicated.

There are plenty cheaper than $250. Hostgator, Godaddy, etc all have solutions for well under $200/month. Alternatively, you could always just buy an inexpensive server and rent space from someone for cheap in a datacenter.
With some exceptions, the general rule is that if your site doesn’t make enough for you to easily afford a dedicated server(s), you’re fine with shared. Likewise, if your site absolutely requires a dedicated server(s), generally it would generate enough for you to do so.
