    Hi Tomhart,

I’m sorry to hear that you had problems.

The issue was likely that the location you were choosing wasn’t a ‘tides’ location in our database. We have quite a fine granularity when it comes to tides, and sometimes a coastal town hasn’t been activated for tides because the beaches along the coast or the tidal points along its harbor or inlet have already been mapped for tides.

The easiest way to find tide locations in an area is to go to the website – https://www.willyweather.com – and then once you’ve found the exact location that forecasts for tides you can set up your widget.

Sorry again, and I hope the information helps for next time!

    Cheers,
    Will.

    Will,
I was trying to get tides at my clients locations to appear in the sidebar of https://www.trixieslanding.com/index.php, and though I couldn’t get the plug in to work i didn’t try that hard as the i-framed solution offered on their site https://www.willyweather.com/info/weatherwidget.html was exactly what I wanted.
…and certainly understand how you could miss something in this forums since I was trying to add to my review and instead created 2 reviews. So I’ll say it again. NOT SURE ABOUT THE PLUGIN, BUT GREAT WEBSITE and great solution!
