    Please Help!!!

I was trying to upload a photo to our website benchbar.org.
When I went to the ‘customize’ section of the website, there wasn’t an option to add a photo to the specific content section of our theme. So I tried to get creative, which was a poor idea on my part. I downloaded a Plug-In called WP Custom Widget area. I then tried to make it so the section that I couldn’t put an image in, would be able to have a widget in it. (Seeing as how you can now use widgets to input images)

So I followed the directions in the widget guide as best I could and pasted the code into one of our style sheets. I then went back to the site, and now the site will not load. (Only the spooling orange circle appears)

Does anyone know of a way to restore the site to a previous version? And how to properly input a photo so the site doesn’t crash in the future?

What file(s) did you edit? Do you have FTP access to the site?

@sterndata The file I edited under the editor were content-frontpage.php under Zerif Lite as well as the Style Sheet and the Theme Function Sheet under ZBlackBeard. I have administrative access to the site, except it is through a different account. Is that the same as FTP access?

What you need to do is download a new copy of zerif-lite and unzip it then, via FTP or your hosting control panel, upload content-frontpage.php and functions.php, replacing the ones that are there.
