Website went down after using Smush

    Hi there,

    Our website and wp-admin page went down after trying to use Smush. The Smush process was cancelled because it was taking longer than expected. It seems like the server is completely unresponsive.

    Hi @briankhlee,

    Glad to hear that the issue was solved, but if you don’t mind me asking, we’re you able to pinpoint the cause and could you tell us which solution worked for you?
    We would like to see if we can improve the plugin to avoid others from having this same issue.

    Absolutely, I was using Smush to optimize the images on the website. 2 minutes in, I thought it would take too long and cancelled the process. That’s when the server went down. After 15 minutes of panic the website came back online on its own.

    Do you recall any error messages when you canceled Bulk Smush?
