Website Way Too Slow!

    Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me pin point why my site is slow to load. It take around 12 seconds to load (unchached) and 7 (chached).

    I’ve tried to use firebug and it states that my domain name took long to load. Any help?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    By deactivating my plugins will that mean the site will be temporary affected?

    I will try them steps, I personally think it has something to do with the requests amount..

    I think it has something to do with my host, because its the “waiting” bit that takes ages. So my host must take a while to give a response right?
