Website updated for me but no for my boss ??

  • Hey guys, so the strangest thing happened to me.
    I have a quick question : I updated a client’s website design (I only touch the font, colors, and maybe some template) but did no major alteration to the website structure (no code nothing)
    I am very happy with my work but my client called me, saying that there are still parts left on her end that are not updated.

    So I checked for me, my friends, my collègues : everything is perfect and updated on my end
    But for her, her husband, her daughter : the website is partly updated…. Do you know what’s going on ?

    Just FYI: I cleared caches, I saved the changes…

  • Did the client clear their browser cache?

    If you made CSS and font changes, did you bust the stylesheet URL that’s cached? That would depend on how your theme handles it. Sometimes, that’s just a matter of updating the theme version, unless the theme does something different. Doing this would bust the browser cache for anyone who’s visited the site before.
