I’m still navigating through my site on my phone for the session was still open but when trying to open it from a new window/session I get the ‘website under construction’ message

ok now I’m confused ha…

I am at work and asked colleagues to try access the site from their work computers and they get the same ‘website under construction’ message…

well I’m glad that people can view the site, thanks for your time

Ask your colleagues to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing the site. Or try emptying their browser cache. This should ensure that the web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from their own cache.
