Overnight my website is suddenly unreachable trough it’s domain. The browser says it can’t connect and when I view my website via another link (not the domain) it says the following:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home2/voiceact/public_html/oop/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/publicize/publicize-jetpack.php on line 424

My website is https://oneofpoints.com and the link that shows this message is seraphskye.com/oop . Any idea anyone?

  • What’s up with these different site URLs?
Can you access your site via FTP or CPanel?

Oneofpoints.com is a domain that I bought and is one that points to the blog. It works with site mapping and stuff so that’s the domain I use normally. But now it doesn’t connect at all and the original URL just shows up with a message. That’s why I put down two URLs. Sorry if I’m very confusing.

I can access my website via FTP.

Access your WP instalation and in the plugins folder locate Jetpack plugin (wp-content/plugins/jetpack). Rename it (or delete it). It might be causing some problems. We’ll see ??

I did that and now the website shows up (not entirely, without any CSS and pictures) on the old url (seraphskye.com/oop). Now, this link normally doesn’t work because the other one is the ‘official’ URL. But this does one doesn’t work either.

Hm… There are dozen of things that might be causing this.
Try renaming the entire plugins folder. When you’re at it, rename the active theme folder (to switch to the default one).
