Website Slower After Jetpack Boost

    Hello, after installing using Jetpack Boost, my website speed score went down. I received a message saying Jetpack should not lower website speeds and to contact support. I don’t use any other optimization plugins besides wp-super-cache, which I’ve always used, I don’t understand why my scores on Jetpack went down as well as Pingdom

    Which modules did you activate? All of them? If so, what does it give you when you just enabled Critical CSS for starters?

    Thanks for responding. Yes I activated all the modules in jetpack boost. I’ve been checking it a couple of times out if the day, it keeps going up in terms of the score, and then down. I don’t know why that is. When I only have css enabled, the score drops even more. I don’t know if this is just coming off Beta, but while researching my own issue I see there’s quite of few people having this same issue. I’m juts trying to see what’s the best way for it to boost my website, thanks again

    Generally this is just Google returning different results when you ask it the same question (rather than Boost coming off Beta).

    Understood. If you go to this link it’ll show you more info about what is influencing your score.

    If you enable features or Boost, and re-test. Looking at the results I got when I ran your URL through

    – Performance = 55/56

    With around 8 seconds for your largest contentful paint. You can see from this link what factors can increase your performance score.

    In your case, a lot is around the images you have on your homepage, you could optimise these and bring those values down.

    Have you / or are you using Jetpack’s site accelerator alongside Boost? If you’re not, I’d recommend giving that a whirl too.
