    Dear Support,

    We have just sent our first email campaign with Fluent CRM, using Fluent SMTP and Amazon SES with a send rate of 14 emails per second. Our subscriber list size is around 144,000.

    While the campaign is sending, we noticed the following:
    – shared server hosting: CPU, Physical & Virtual Memory all were close to 100%
    – our website slowed down noticeably on the front-end
    – we did not notice any difference in the back-end of our website

    Would you have any suggestions how we could ensure that the front-end of our website does not slow down?

    Would reducing the send rate make a difference?

  • Hello Pieter,

    FluentCRM doesn’t have any functionalities in the front-end so I don’t think the site is slowed down because of the campaign. It might be because of the limited server resources. As you mentioned that the CPU, physical and virtual memory usage were close to 100% when a campaign is sent so that might have caused the issue.

    I would suggest you to increase the hosting specifications if possible so that should solve the issue.
