Website shows but NO THEME

    Hello All – this website was down probably due to being extremely outdated. I have deleted most of the extraneous themes as well as most of the plugins. Now the curious thing is that you can see the site, but absolutely no theme styling/functionality/layout is showing. I have 2014 installed and I’ve tried 2013 and Avada. Nothing will take…

    try re-uploading twenty-fourteen, you may have deleted something somewhere that was important!

    Thanks for the idea, but this is a newly installed copy of 2014 and newly installed WP core files. It has happened on several other sites, all hosted by the same company. So I’m wondering if it has to do with something on their end…

    It turns out is was a corrupted .htaccess file. After uploading a refined one, the site is up again!
