Check your site at:

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights

And I would review your plugins (deactivate all, then activate one at a time to see which may cause a performance hit.

I recommend you work with your host to enable compression and include a caching plugin like WP Super Cache.

I am using a cache plugin, ive run all tests there is and ive tried deactivating all plugins, i always get grade A on the tests.

as i said on IE my site is just fine except for the initial load.

See the Quick Cache FAQ section “If you have GZIP compression enabled, then the cache file is also sent to the browser with compression ( recommended )”

Once enabled, flush the existing cache.

i already had gzip added to the .htaccess file, i guess my webhost doesnt have it activated in the php.ini file :S
