Somehow my website has reverted to an early development version of about a month or two ago. The hosting provider changed the domain from a temporary one to the real domain, and updated the URLs in the database (they say). Hasn’t worked since. I can login to wordpress, and everything seems to work ok, except the pages, content, styling etc etc are not the last version.

    Using WP 5.8

Does anyone have any thoughts about how this could have happened or how I can get back to the latest version? Must be in the database somewhere?? I hope!

    Thanks in advance,

    Peter.

I recommend asking your hosting provider. They may have used the older backup of your DB.

We here have no control over or access to your servers.

The hosting provider restored a backup from 2 days earlier and the website was ok.

No-one over there has any idea what happened.

    Confounded!

    Thanks for your response.
