Website ownership verification worked.

  • I installed this in my client’s WP site soley for Google ownership verification, but couldn’t get it to work — I gave up and verified using CNAME record.
    Decided to figure it out by verifying with Bing meta tags and ran into the same issue, couldn’t confirm. Long story short, it was WP Fastest Cache. Once I deleted the cache, it verified.
