    Hi all,

Yesterday I’ve logged in into admin mode and WordPress showed that there is a newer version it showed me 2 installations english language and my language, so I’ve clicked on my version. After update my website isn’t opening anymore. In admin mode I can see the website and I can make changes, but in simple mode the website isn’t opening. How to fix this error, need some help. Thank you.

    Firefox:
    “The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.”

    Chrome:
    “This page isn’t working

romarinatur.md redirected you too many times.
    Try clearing your cookies.

  • Hello!

    1. Go to General -> Settings and make sure that your WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are the exactly the same (https://romarinatur.md).

If they aren’t, correct it. If they are, then go to step 2.

    2. I recommend making a full backup, even though your site is a bit messed up right now, because it can always go from bad to worse.

If you said that you just updated WordPress and this happened, then it must be some sort of conflict with a plugin which is probably not compatible with WordPress anymore.

So deactivate all plugins and check again.

If the problem’s gone, then enable the plugins one by one until you find the culprit. You can start with any plugin that handles redirections, if you happen to have something like that.

” there is a newer version ” do you talk about WordPress update?
I think, there could be a plugin conflict. Disable all your plugin one by one and check the issue?
Even if it doesn’t help, you will know that this isn’t plugin conflict.
Maybe you can also try to use only English and check the issue?

Thank you all. Problem solved. Polylang plugin was the issue, it had an outdated version, after updating it the website is up & running.
